At Club Pilates Rancho Mirage, we run 2-3 comprehensive teacher training programs per year.

Online learning can begin at once. In-studio training dates include:

  • September: 12 / 13 & 26 / 27

  • October: 10 / 11 & 24 / 25

  • November: 7 / 8 & 21 / 22

Tuition

Full tuition for the comprehensive teacher training program is $4,995.

  • 1 Payment Plan: Pay in full upon signup

  • 2 Payment Plan: Deposit of $2,100 due upon signup; final payment of $2,895 due on the first day of in-studio training

  • 6 Payment Plan: Deposit of $2,100 due upon signup; 5 monthly payments of $630 beginning on the first day of in-studio training
    (Total of $5,250)

Additional Costs:

  • Printed Manuals: $499 (or print your own from PDFs)

  • Student Insurance for Practice Teaching: ~$100

  • Additional Master Trainer Hours if needed

Course Highlights

Flexible Learning Format

Designed for busy adults balancing work, family and other commitments. Program requirements include:

  • Online Learning (Self-Paced) - 150 hours
    These hours consist of lectures, on-line assignments, reading, videos, and quizzes. Participants can begin their online hours immediately upon enrollment and all online hours can be completed anytime, anywhere.

  • In-studio Training - 66 hours
    In-studio hours are completed in person at Club Pilates Rancho Mirage over six weekends (12 days). Each day will be 6 hours with a 30-minute break. Participants are required to attend all 12 in-studio days to complete the program.

  • Observation - 60 hours
    Participants may begin logging observation hours the same day as enrollment. These hours can be completed by watching classes in studio, or by watching Pilates classes online. An Observation Form will be completed for each hour of observation.

  • Self-practice - 70 hours
    These hours consist of time spent physically practicing the Pilates Method. These hours can be completed at home, in studio classes, private training sessions, or another environments that is conducive to self-practice.

  • Practice Teaching - 70 hours
    These hours require participants to bring the own “client” to the studio for practice teaching the Pilates Method to them. Student liability insurance is required at this point in the program to protect the participant and the studio.

  • Assistant Teaching - 34 hours
    Assistant teaching hours are logged when the participant assists an approved Club Pilates instructor during a live class. During this time, a 3-5 minute increment of class is taught by the participant. During the remaining parts of the class the participant will help adjust equipment, demonstrate proper form, and more.
